This article is for those who want to install Chrome OS on their Mac, iPhone or iPod touch.
It is important that you do this.
There are some minor differences between Chrome OS and Windows and some of them may not be apparent to you, especially when you have a computer with Windows 8.1 installed.
But they are all very similar and should help you get started.
Here are the basic steps to install Chromium OS on a Mac.
If you want to do it the old fashioned way, follow these steps:1.
Type sudo add-apt-repository ppa:chromium-os/stable and press Enter.3.
Type the following commands and press enter.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt -y install chromium-platform-browser-browser3.
Reboot your Mac to get it to update.4.
Type chrome://settings to bring up the settings menu.5.
Select System Settings.6.
In the left panel, select Add a device.
Select a device, such as a USB drive or an external hard drive, and then select the USB drive you want.
This will take a minute or two.7.
Click the Add button.8.
Click Apply and you’re done.
You will need to restart your computer to get your ChromiumOS to update the new system.
Once you have the updates installed, you will be able to use ChromeOS without having to reinstall Windows or open up a Windows Explorer window.
